My Favorite Smartphone Car Mount: iOttie Easy One Touch Wireless 2

With so many smartphone car mounts out on the market, it can be really frustrating when you are trying to find the right one that fits well for your car and allows you to view your phone easily. iOttie has been a favorite of mine for a couple of years and when the Pixel 4 was released they reached out and asked if I’d like to try their latest model, the Easy One Touch Wireless 2. This is the first car mount to be included in the Made for Google program which means it is a perfect match for Pixel owners!

Besides having the incredible wireless Qi fast charging, one of the most convenient features of the iOttie smartphone mounts is the locking side arms. You press the arms to open and once the device hits the trigger button, the arms automatically close on contact and secure your phone into place. SIMPLE and EASY. Only one hand needed!

One of the biggest features that was new for me with the new iOttie Easy One Touch Wireless 2 was the CD slot car mount. I’ve always used either the air vent or dash/windshield options and while they’ve held up well, they didn’t always work for the layout of my car interior. To install, insert and lock the mount into the car CD slot, and adjust the cradle into a convenient viewing position. This kept my infotainment screen accessible.

The only controls it covers are all for the music and I’m always adjusting from the steering wheel or via the infotainment screen. My phone is easy to see for navigation or even use the new Motion Sense on the Pixel 4 to change songs or answer a call.
